According to David Garway-Heath (22nd May 2012), "by 1680 Thomas Mompesson was married to Florence Walrond", presumably after Dinah's death. He further noted that: "As Eleanor, wife of Francis Hollis Newman, was born in 1662, she is very likely the daughter of Dinah Wyndham (rather than Florence Waldron), but, to be sure, we need a death date for Dinah or marriage date for Florence."

Note 2: Information kindly provided by Gay Brennan in Oct 2020: "Dinah Wyndham, wife of Thomas Mompesson, died on 7 April 1658 and was buried at Boyton, Wiltshire, a week later on 14 April. Eleanor Mompesson was born about 1662 and was baptised on 31 July 1662 at Boyton, so her mother must have been Florence Walrond. One authority states that she was younger than her sister, Florence Mompesson, so Thomas Mompesson and Florence Walrond must have married around 1659-60.
