From the information I hold supplied to me be an Australian descendant of David Traill born 12 Feb 1828, the son of James Traill originally of Deerness, and his wife Jean Henry. It would appear that David's brother George was born around 1836. David's son David migrated to Australia. They are a branch of the Orkney Traills who you will not find in Dr William's book published in 1883, as all members of this branch had moved to Aberdeen and Brechin by the early 19th century.
